Pit House, formerly known as Pit Cottage, is an early 19th-century building located on Battle Road in Dallington. It is two storeys tall and features seven windows. The ground floor is constructed of painted brick, while the upper floor is weather-boarded. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and the building has casement windows.
