Description
Graylings is a building located on Battle Road in Dallington, consisting of two sections. The eastern part dates back to the 17th century and was formerly a grocer's shop. It has two storeys and three windows, with the ground floor covered in stucco and the upper floor tile-hung. The roof is hipped and tiled. The first floor features casement windows, while the ground floor includes a 19th-century shop window with one transom, six mullions, and panes, all with segmental headed corners. The western portion, which was the residential area attached to the shop, is from the early 19th century. This section also has two storeys and three windows, is stuccoed, and has a tiled roof with intact glazing bars.
