Description

Chantry Cottage is an 18th-century building located on the north side of High Street in Old Town. It is two storeys high and features three windows. The front is finished in stucco, while the sides are made of red brick with grey headers. The roof is tiled and has a parapet. The glazing bars are intact, and the doorway is adorned with Doric pilasters, a pediment, and a semi-circular fanlight. Chantry Cottage, along with Nos 22 to 28 (even), forms a group with Barrack Hall on Chantry Lane.
