Description

An early 19th century building of two storeys and three windows, originally stuccoed with a modillion eaves cornice and a slate roof. The front facing the garden to the south is particularly notable, featuring pilasters rising the full height of the building and a balustraded balcony supported by Ionic columns, behind which are located the first-floor windows. French windows are present on the ground floor, the central one being round-headed. A projecting porch with Doric pilasters and a pediment sits on the road-facing front, flanked by curved walls and a parapet. The recessed doorway is framed with fluted moulding and features a door of six moulded and fielded panels. Nos. 1 to 9 (odd) and the garden wall of No. 9 form a group.
