Description

Hanover House is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of High Street in Old Town. It has two storeys and three windows, with a stuccoed exterior. The building features an eaves bracket cornice and a tiled roof, and the glazing bars are intact. The doorway is adorned with pilasters and a projecting cornice. The ground floor was restored from a shop front in 1974. Hanover House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 9 (odd) and the garden wall of No 9.
