Description

This building is part of a terrace of houses built around 1800, with alterations to the ground floor in the 20th century. Constructed of Flemish bond brickwork, it has a stone parapet and a tiled roof with three brick chimney stacks. The building comprises two parallel ranges and is three stories high, with three windows. The upper floors feature twelve-pane sash windows set in reveals. Number 8 retains its original ground floor window; a twelve-pane sash within a round-headed arch, flanked by impost blocks. It also has a round-headed doorcase to the left. Numbers 6 and 7 retain their original round-headed doorcases with radiating fanlights, although Number 8’s ground-floor window retains only the remains of its arch. The building now has large, three-light windows on the ground floor to Number 7, and a large sash window to Number 6.
