The Parish Church of St Mary was built between 1499 and 1505. It consists of one large room without any divisions between the chancel and has no aisles. The church is constructed of red brick, which is coated with cement. It features a tiled roof with two hips and a tile-hung bell-turret situated between them. There are two 18th-century red brick buttresses on the west wall and four similar buttresses on the south wall.
