Description

The Stables of Brickwall, located to the southeast of the house, were built in 1835 and are attributed to Thomas Frewen Turner Esq, MP, with S. Smirke as the architect and S. Baker as the builder. The stables feature a 4-centred archway and a low tower topped with an octagonal lantern that has a lead ogee cupola. On each side of the tower, there are two-storey sections that include two gablets on the outer face and six raised panels above the parapet on the inner face, which also displays a clock face.
