47/53A The Stables of Brickwall to the south east of the 3.8.61 house. (Formerly listed with Brickwall as the stables)

Bearing the inscription 'These Stables were erected with old bricks by Thomas Frewen Turner Esq, MP 1835, S Smirke Architect. S Baker Builder'. They consist of a 4-centred archway and low tower surmounted by an octagonal lantern with a lead ogee cupola, on each side of which is a two storey portion with 2 gablets to the outer face and 6 raised panels above the parapet on the inner face, which also has a clock face.
