Description

The Wilderness is a 17th-century building located on Rye Road in Northiam. It has two storeys and features four windows. The ground floor is roughcast, while the upper floor is tile-hung and painted. The roof is half-hipped and mansarded, covered with tiles. A notable architectural feature is the central two-storey projection with curved sides. The windows are casement style with small square panes.
