Description
Grove Lodge is a building dating from around 1835, featuring one storey and an attic with two windows. Originally constructed in ashlar, two-thirds of the south front has been refaced with stucco that has incised lines to imitate stonework. The building has two small gables and a modern gabled dormer situated between them, along with a tiled roof and casement windows. Grove Lodge was originally a Tudor Gothic cottage, similar to Battle Lodge located in the parish of Battle, but it has undergone significant modifications and simplifications since it was first listed.
