The Post Office Stores is likely a late 17th century timber-framed building that was refaced in the early 19th century. The ground floor features painted brick, while the upper part is covered with weather-boarding. It has a slate roof and the first floor retains its original glazing bars. The western part of the ground floor has a late 19th century shop front.
