Description

Silverden Manor is an L-shaped timber-framed building with plaster infilling, located on Church Lane in Northiam. The north-east wing dates back to the 15th century and is of Wealden type, featuring a close-studded and recessed center with curved braces that support the eaves. It has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof and casement windows. Inside, there is a crown post roof. The north-west wing is a 16th-century addition. The manor has two storeys and three windows, with one window in each wing.
