Description

The former shepherd's hut in the garden of 7 The Compts is a 19th-century small, single-storey rectangular building. It is faced with flints and has red brick quoins, topped with a hipped tiled roof. The hut features one window and has a fireplace inside, although the original bunk-bed is missing. This building is noted as a rare surviving example of its kind in Sussex and holds sociological interest.
