Description
This is an early 19th-century terrace, now consisting of Nos. 16 to 20. It represents the remaining end section of a larger group. The building is stuccoed with slate roofs. The central three bays are two storeys high, with an attic and basement, and topped by a balustraded parapet and a mansard roof. The outer bays project, rising three storeys with a basement. A continuous dentil cornice runs along the top, with pilasters; most of the Corinthian capitals to these pilasters are now missing. The windows are sash windows, set within moulded architraves, though the glazing bars have been lost. There are slightly projecting porches with round-headed doorways and cast-iron balconies on the ground floor. A balustrade runs along the basement areas. Nos. 16 to 24 form a group.
