Description
The Vicarage to the Church of St Elisabeth is a building dating from around 1935, designed by P.D. Stonham and A.R.G. Fenning in the Neo-Georgian style. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped tiled roof with two tall brick chimneystacks at the ridge and an external brick chimneystack on the side elevation. The vicarage is two storeys high and has seven windows. The central three bays are recessed, with a central 18-pane sash window flanked by two casements. On the ground floor, there is a similar casement window to the right and a blank wall to the left. The central entrance has a doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets, leading to a two-panelled door topped with a fanlight. The side elevation includes two sash windows. There is a contemporary garage attached to the left side of the building. The vicarage was designed as part of a group with the Church of St Elisabeth and the church hall.
