Description
Wish Tower is a Martello Tower built in 1806 for defense purposes. The walls are 8 feet thick and constructed of brick with a cement coating. The entrance is located 20 feet above the ground. Inside, there was a magazine with two rooms above it, and the roof featured a gun emplacement. The tower has been significantly altered since the Second World War, as an observation post or range-finding lookout was added on top, which has a square roof that extends out in front.
