Description
St Mark's Chapel, built in 1873 by Charles Cooper, is located 12 metres north-east of the main building of St Mark's Hospital. The chapel features red plain tiles and squared Swindon sandstone rubble walls, designed in a simple Gothic style. It has a nave with four bays, a chancel, transepts, a south porch, and a stone bellcote on the west gable. Inside, there is a simple hammer beam roof. The chapel is included in the listing for its group value with the adjacent hospital.
