Description
Honeybottom is a house that dates from the 17th century and later. It features a combination of brick and timber framing with brick nogging and some tile hanging. The roof is tiled, with a central stack on the ridge and a gabled 20th-century dormer on the east side. The entrance has been altered from its original lobby type. The house has two storeys and an attic, consisting of two framed bays with angled braces. The south front has two windows, all of which are 20th-century casements. The west gable is tile hung and includes an attic window. There is a blocked central doorway on the north side. Inside, there is a notable 17th-century fireplace. There are later early 20th-century additions to the north and east, which are not of special interest.
