Description
50 Northbrook Street is a 17th-century building that features a range with wings and outbuildings at the rear. The front of the building was remodeled in the mid-19th century and has an old tile roof. It includes a tall brick chimney stack with a moulded cap. The structure is timber framed, with a patterned tile-hung front and plain tile gables at the rear. The building is two storeys high and has dormers, with three windows in total. The hipped sash dormers have glazing bars, and there is a central first-floor splayed bay window flanked by architraved sash windows. The front also includes a modern shop front. At the rear, there are 18th and 19th-century sash and casement windows, some of which have glazing bars. The north wing is timber framed with rendered panels and features a mullioned weaver's window on the first floor.
