Description

Tumbleweed is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed from sarsen stone and features brick quoins. The cottage has a thatched roof with a half hip design, which is raised at the front to allow for a first floor. On the first floor, there are four timber casement windows, while the ground floor has three irregular timber casement windows. A thatched porch is located over the door to the left of the center. Internally, the cottage has two structural bays with large chamfered and stopped beams.
