Description
Cross House is an 18th-century house located in Eastbury, Lambourn. It is two storeys high and constructed of vitreous brick, featuring red quoins and dressings. There is a flush red string at the first-floor cill level and brick dentil eaves beneath an old tile roof. The front facade includes three tall 19th-century casement windows in their original openings, each with two lights, as well as three light-segmental headed casements on the ground floor. All windows are adorned with stone key blocks. The central entrance features a four-panelled door set in an arched brick opening, with the tympanum blocked and a stone key block above. A flat hood supported by cut scroll brackets is located at the base of the arch. At the rear, there is a modern tile-hung extension.
