Description
Manor Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse that has been altered over time. The central part of the building is two storeys high, flanked by three-storey crosswings. The structure is primarily made of brick, with a flint and stone plinth on the right-hand crosswing and render on the left-hand crosswing. It features an old tile roof and a large central brick chimney, which has two diamond-shaped shafts alongside a square shaft. The right-hand wing also has two large diamond shaft chimneys.
On the south-east elevation, the central portion has three timber casement windows and a modern door beneath a gabled hood. The left-hand crosswing includes one timber casement window and a door on the ground floor. The right-hand crosswing features a three-light stone mullioned window in the attic and a four-light stone mullioned window with a transom below, both adorned with drip moulds.
The north-east elevation has two gables, each with a chimney; the stacks project forward from the wall. There are irregular stone mullioned windows, some of which are blocked. Inside, the ground floor includes a panelled room with a carved fireplace.
