Description
The dovecote, dating from the late 17th century, is located in The Priory garden, approximately 60 metres south west of the main building. It is constructed of brick and features a pyramidal roof covered with old tiles, topped by a boarded central turret. The dovecote has a square plan, with a small boarded entrance door on the north east side and a small fixed light window on the north west front.
Adjoining the dovecote is a wall from the late 17th century, which has been partly rebuilt in the 18th century. This wall has deep weathered coping in three heights, with the lowest section standing at approximately 2 metres and the highest at about 2.5 metres. The wall extends for approximately 70 metres.
