Description
The Pigeon House is a house, dated 1620 based on a stone in the west gable, with alterations made in the late 17th century and the early 20th century. It is two storeys and has an attic.
The west part of the south front is built of flint with brick quoins, having mullioned windows made of Bath stone. It has an old tile roof and a tall chimney with two diamond shafts to the north. The east part is of brick, with the same old tile roof. It has a square chimney to the north.
The west gable end features a billetted barge board and a drop finial. The apex of the gable is brick and displays the date 1620. There is a one-by-three light Bath stone mullioned window on each upper floor, each with a drip mould.
The ground floor of the south front has a central doorway with a moulded Bath stone surround and drip mould, now with a modern door. A modern stone mullioned window is located to the right of the door. The front is irregular, with three- and four-light Bath stone mullioned windows to the left, and three windows in the brick part to the right, the rightmost of which is blocked.
