Description

A 17th-century cottage situated on the south-west side of High Street in Upper Lambourn. The building is constructed of sarsen and brick, with a thatched roof. A queen post truss is exposed within the gable. Chimneys flank the structure while a single-storey lean-to is attached to the left side. A modern extension is located at the rear. The first floor has two three-light casements, their roof swept down between them, featuring iron casements with leaded lights. The ground floor has two further three-light casements with modern glazing set within early timber frames, beneath chamfered timber lintols. A boarded door is positioned on the left side of the building.
