Description
Ownham Old Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 19th century, with some 20th-century additions. It is constructed of grey brick with red dressings, features tile hanging, and has a tiled roof. The building has stacks on both the right and left sides and is one storey with an attic. There is a door on the right side with a casement window to its right. The left side of the attic has three gabled dormers, each with a casement window, and the two right-hand dormers are tile hung. To the right, there is a one-storey addition with scattered casement windows.
The garden front of the farmhouse is two storeys high, featuring a central door with a gabled porch. On both storeys, there is one segmental-headed coupled sash window on each side of the door. Above the porch, there is a fire insurance plate. Inside, there is an 18th-century corner cupboard in the parlour, which has a shell niche inside and is possibly relocated from another location.
