Description

The Old Chequers Public House is a public house dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century front. It features a timber frame, a brick ground floor, and a rendered first floor, topped with a tiled roof that is hipped to the right and has an off-centre ridge stack to the left. The building consists of three framed bays and is two storeys high. On the ground floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows, and on the first floor, there is one sash window along with two casement windows to the left. The entrance includes two doors: one located at the far left and another situated between the first and second windows from the right.
