Description

11 St Michael's Square is a late 14th century undercroft with an elliptical shape. It is constructed from roughly coursed rubble, featuring a springing course made of finely tooled ashlar. The north-east corner likely housed a garderobe shaft from the floor above. This structure is also designated as a scheduled ancient monument.
