Description

74-76 Bedford Place is an early to mid-19th century terrace of three houses. The buildings are constructed of yellow brick and extend over two storeys and a basement. They have hipped slate roofs, although the roof of number 75 has been replaced with modern cement tiles. Each house has one sash window, with those on the first floors featuring moulded architraves and cills supported by cut-stone brackets. The ground floors have three-light, angular canted bays, and the original glazing bars are intact. The right-hand doorcases are distinguished by shallow, dentilled cornice hoods supported on console brackets. Cast iron area railings are present.
