Description

No 12 on Friar Street is an early to mid-19th century building that forms a pair with No 11. It stands three and a half storeys tall, constructed with silver grey headers and red brick dressings. The building features a moulded brick cornice and parapet, along with a projecting string course at the second floor. The ground floor has two modern shop fronts, while the upper floors contain four ranges of modern glazing bar sash windows set in flush framed surrounds. The roof is covered with old tiles, and the attic has been modernised with two large dormers.
