Description

No 13 on Friar Street is a building dating from around the mid-18th century. It stands three storeys tall and features two narrow bays. The façade is constructed with silver grey brick headers and red brick dressings in roughly equal amounts. It has a small brick block cornice and a parapet, along with a band at the second-floor level. The roof is tiled, and there is a modern shopfront at ground level. The first-floor windows have segmental heads and have been shortened, while the second-floor window sashes are set in flush moulded surrounds, with the upper sashes featuring glazing bars.
