Description
The quadrant walls and railings to the former No. 64, known as Greyfriars Vicarage, date from around 1796 or 1808 and are likely designed by the architect John Soane, who also designed the now-demolished vicarage. The walls are flanking garden walls that are shaped in a quadrant and constructed of red brick. They feature garden doors on the street front, with heads set in semi-circular arches and plastered tympana. The walls are connected by cast iron spearhead railings, which are supported by fluted column standards topped with urns. There are central steps leading to the doorway, with a footscraper located to the left.
