Description
No. 10 Guildhall Walk is a house that has been converted into Masonic Hall offices. It was built in the mid-19th century and features a stucco exterior with a Welsh slated mansard roof. The building has three storeys and an attic, with a three-bay façade. At the center, there are three stone steps leading up to a recessed two-leaf four-panelled door, which has a fanlight above it and is set under a round arch with a keystone. On either side of the door, there are casements, each set under a round arch with keystones and plain aprons, flanked by Tuscan pilasters. A string course runs from the capital architrave.
On the first floor, there is a central six-pane casement set under a segmental arch, with its sill higher than the flanking sills, and flanking six-pane casements, each set under a flat arch. There is a band course and a fluted band above. The second floor features a 20th-century casement at the center, which is set within the original opening, along with narrow flanking sashes. This floor also has a band course and a coped parapet, topped with a three-light flat-roofed dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
