Description
No. 11 Market Place is an early 18th-century stone building with an old tile roof featuring coped gables, brick chimney stacks, and two hipped dormers that have 2-light casements. The building has a bracketed eaves cornice and is two storeys high. The doorway is off centre to the north and is set in a simple wooden doorcase, which is linked to a tripartite sash window on the right. This arrangement is topped by a continuous entablature with a dentil cornice. There is a sash window to the left and two sash windows on the first floor flanking a blank recess in the centre, all of which have flat arches and keystones. At the rear, there is a stone wing with an old tiled roof and a sash window in the west and gable wall that features a "gothick" glazing pattern.
