Description

No. 68 High Street is a late 16th-century building featuring a timber frame and brick construction, topped with a tiled roof. It stands three storeys high with attics, and the upper floor and attics are partly gabled. The building includes an early chimney stack and staircase. In the 19th century, alterations were made, including cement rendering, bargeboards, and the addition of a bay window to the upper storeys. No. 68 is part of a group with Nos. 60, 66, and 68 High Street.
