Description

No. 5 School Lane is a small house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of stone, with a brick front and features a tiled roof that has two chimneys. The house is 1½ storeys high and has two 2-light casement windows with shutters and a door situated between them, all topped with segmental arched heads. Above, there are two small flat-roofed eaves dormers. To the right, there is a 19th-century extension that is one bay wide, made of stone and brick, which continues under the main roof.
