Description

Brookfield Cottages is a row of four cottages dating from the 17th century, which were possibly originally one dwelling before being converted in the 19th century. The cottages were renovated in 1975 and 1976. They are constructed of rubble stone that has been rendered and painted. The cottages feature a thatched roof with a brick chimney located at the east end and another in the center. The north elevation includes four doors and four two-light casement windows, with one casement having its head rising into the thatch, and three smaller casements positioned beneath the eaves. All the joinery is modern.
