Description

Oaklands is a house dated 1753, constructed from coursed rubblestone and featuring an old tile roof with bands of fishscale tiles. The building has two bays and two storeys. It has a central door that is sheltered by a modern gabled porch. On either side of the door are four-pane sash windows with painted lintels. The first floor has two-light casement windows. Between the upper windows, there is a date panel inscribed with 'WLA 1753', which is topped with a simple cornice and flanked by brick stacks.
