Description

The boundary stone, dated to the 18th century, is located behind a later obelisk in Upnor. It is made from a single square pillar of stone with a pyramidal top, standing 1.2 meters high. The stone is inscribed with the date 1204 and the phrase 'GOD PRESERVE THE CITY OF LONDON'.
