Description
The barn at Grove Farm, located approximately 50 meters south of the farmhouse, is a Grade II listed building dated 1775. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring some grey headers and an Isle of Wight plinth. The roof is now covered with corrugated iron and has a gable end with coping and ventilation slits. There are two cart entrances with wooden double doors. Inside, the barn is divided to create three bays on each side. The roof is of the staggered purlin type, with the purlins being chamfered and having run-out stops, and it includes diagonal tension braces.
