Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to William Way, dating from around 1859. It is made of stone and features a moulded plinth, fielded panels, and end pilasters that have fluting at the top. The box of the tomb is adorned with reeding, and it is topped with a moulded slab. The tomb is located 10 meters west of the north turret of the west tower at St Michael the Archangel Church in Shalfleet.
