Description
A row of six cottages, dated 1850 and extended in the 20th century, forming part of the Tennyson estate. The cottages are built of Isle of Wight stone rubble with a slate roof and feature seven cylindrical terracotta chimneypots. The end pair of cottages on the right were built in the 20th century to match the original style. The two-storey front elevation has three triple sash windows set within moulded terracotta surrounds, largely in cambered architraves featuring the letter 'T'. Simple white brick porches with cambered architraves, brick coping and kneelers are present. The end gables have carved bargeboards.
