Description
Emberley Cottage and Emberley House are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, with Emberley House likely having an earlier construction that was altered in the 20th century. They are built of stone rubble with red brick dressings, and the front is whitewashed. The cottages have a tiled roof featuring three cemented chimneystacks. There are two parallel ranges, each two storeys high with four windows. The windows are modern casements. Emberley House has a central six-panelled door topped with a flat weatherhood supported by brackets, while Emberley Cottage features a modern door with a built-in fanlight.
