Description

No. 83 High Street is an early 19th-century building located on the east side of West Cowes. It is constructed of grey headers with red brick window dressings and quoins, topped with a tiled roof. The building stands three storeys high and features three windows, which originally had sashes with glazing bars, though these are now missing. Notable architectural details include wooden stringcourses, a brick dentilled cornice, and a parapet made of grey headers. The entrance is marked by a cemented, rusticated round-headed doorcase that includes a semi-circular fanlight above a six-panelled door.
