Description

No. 17 St Thomas's Square is an office and shop building from the late 18th century. It is constructed from painted brick and features decorative bands and keystones. The building has three storeys and six windows, with the ground floor lacking glazing bars. The roof is slate. The entrance door is adorned with a moulded segmental wood hood supported by brackets. Inside, there is a well-preserved contemporary staircase and a panelled entrance hall. The shop on the north side has a 19th-century shop window and a door with a rounded head.
