Description
This group consists of 10 chest tombs belonging to members of the Leigh family, located at St Swithin's Old Church. They date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and are almost identical in design. Each tomb is made of stone and features moulded plinths and top slabs. The tombs have recessed reeded corner pilasters and inscription panels. The four tombs on the eastern side have a reeded pattern in the oval designs, while the remaining tombs display plain curved incised patterns.
