Description
This is a curvilinear-wall garden feature located approximately 160 meters southeast of East Dene house, dating from the mid to late 19th century and part of the former East Dene estate.
The feature consists of a pair of parallel rubble-stone walls that are just under 1 meter high at the entrance. These walls run in a curvilinear form for about 5 meters. To the south and east of the walls, the ground slopes steeply. The walls and the area between them are heavily overgrown with later foliage and earth. The entrance is at the northeast end, where a path runs between the two walls. The walls curve southwards at the same height and continue around to the southwest, descending with the surrounding land. The southwest end of the walls is largely obscured by vegetation, making it unclear if there are any steps between the walls at that end. The east wall, which forms the outer curve, appears to include remnants of a stone ledge.
