Description

The Keys, formerly known as Thatched Cottage, is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century. It is situated in the grounds of Binstead House and was once used as a parsonage. The structure is two storeys high and built from stone rubble, designed in a half H plan with two half hipped gables. The thatched roof features ornamented bargeboards that are partially obscured by the thatch. The building has three casement windows, with "Eyebrows" above the first-floor window located in the recessed centre. Below this window, there is a rustic wood porch topped with a slate roof.
