Description

The precinct walls of Old Quarr Abbey are extensive boundary walls located on the north, south, and east sides of the site. These walls are constructed from drystone and were originally crenellated, with varying heights. The south range measures approximately 217 yards in length, while the east range, which is interrupted in the center by a road, is about 265 yards long. The north range extends to approximately 243 yards. Additionally, parts of the walling remain intact within the precinct.
