Description
Numbers 12 and 13 Duke Street are terraced houses that have been converted into shops, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick, with red mathematical tiles on the spandrels of the bay of No. 13. The buildings stand three storeys tall and feature a one-window range. The ground floor has shop fronts from the 19th or early 20th century, with original fascias that include bracketed stops at both ends. The first and second floors have two-storey segmental bays with tripartite windows, and all windows except those on the second floor of No. 13 retain their original sash design. The buildings have a parapet and a stack on the party wall. The interior has not been inspected.
